The former "Angel" actor and his wife Jaime Bergman welcomed the couple's second child on Monday, People.com reports.
Daughter Bardot Vita, who weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., joins 7-year-old big brother Jaden Rayne.
Baby Boreanaz's birth ends the on-call duties for the "Bones" actor, who had been staying close to home in case his wife, who had been on bed-rest, went into labor.
"I must maintain a 20-mile radius. I cannot travel beyond that," the 40-year-old actor recently said. "If I do, I'll freak out – I have to be there when the baby comes."
Although the new season of "Bones" premieres Sept. 17, Boreanaz is putting family first.
"It's given me a clear understanding of priorities and responsibilities – things aren't just all about you," the actor said about fatherhood. It was really easy when I had no responsibilities."
